Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), in collaboration with the United States, Japan, Australia, the United Kingdom, Canada, the Netherlands, and the Ministry of Digital Affairs, successfully conducted the "Global Cooperation and Training Framework (GCTF) Workshop on Resilience in Telecommunications and Cybersecurity" from May 28 to 30, 2024. The workshop attracted over 200 participants from 26 countries, as well as domestic experts, who gathered to share policies and actions aimed at strengthening the resilience of telecommunications infrastructure and information security to address common challenges and create a secure digital environment.

Participants exchanged experiences on key topics such as supply chain information security risk management, public-private collaboration to bolster cybersecurity, and talent cultivation. The workshop also included visits for international guests to Taiwan's satellite radio and microwave stations, providing a first-hand look at the country's telecommunications infrastructure development.

As technology, artificial intelligence, and the digital economy continue to advance, the issue of telecommunications and information security resilience remains a critical focus for nations worldwide. Taiwan is committed to collaborating with like-minded countries and leveraging its strengths through the GCTF platform to foster a progressive, prosperous, and secure digital environment.
