The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Malaysia, in collaboration with the US Embassy in Malaysia, the British High Commission in Malaysia, and the Australian High Commission in Malaysia, proudly hosted the second Global Cooperation and Training Framework (GCTF) Franchise Workshop on May 2, 2024. This year's workshop centered on the theme of Best Practices in Energy Transition.

This esteemed workshop convened experts and stakeholders from Taiwan, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Malaysia to address critical issues concerning climate change mitigation, energy transition, and the promotion of green energy financing.

The event served as a platform for the introduction of Taiwan's advancements in offshore wind power development, insights into the future trends of renewable energy, and discussions on relevant policy initiatives. By sharing the sustainable development experiences of participating nations, including Taiwan, the United States, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Malaysia, the workshop facilitated in-depth deliberations on combating climate change challenges and exploring innovative solutions.
