GCTF Workshop in Taipei Bolsters Global Fight Against Transnational Fraud

Ministry of Foreign Affairs, The American Institute in Taiwan, Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association, Australian Office Taipei, and British Office Taipei successfully convened the "2024 GCTF International Workshop on Combating Transnational Fraud" from March 25-27 in Taipei.

The three-day workshop facilitated robust discussions among 270 participants, including nearly 40 visiting participants from 24 countries, fostering discussions on fraud detection and prevention across industries, innovative fraud-fighting technologies, and strategies to address the complexities of transnational fraud.

The workshop underscores the collaborative efforts of MOFA, AIT, JTEA, and the Australian Office Taipei in administering the Global Cooperation and Training Framework (GCTF) program. GCTF serves as a vital platform for Taiwan to share its expertise globally and address critical issues of international concern.
