GCTF Franchise Workshop in Saint Lucia to Address Social Security and Crime Prevention

The Embassy of the Republic of China (Taiwan) in Saint Lucia, in partnership with the U.S. Embassy in Barbados, the Eastern Caribbean, and the OECS, along with the Government of Saint Lucia, jointly organized the Global Cooperation and Training Framework (GCTF) Franchise Workshop on "Social Security and Crime Prevention." The workshop aimed to examine the root causes of criminal behavior in Caribbean nations and explore strategies to enhance security and prevent various types of crime.

This marks the third consecutive year that GCTF events have been held in Saint Lucia since the launch of the overseas franchise model in 2021. The continued success of these events highlights GCTF’s growing role as an international platform for cooperation, capacity building, and knowledge exchange. Taiwan remains committed to promoting shared values, sharing expertise, and supporting regional efforts to strengthen security and social stability across the Caribbean.
