The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA), the American Institute in Taiwan (AIT), the Japan-Taiwan Exchange Association, the Australian Office, and the Canadian Trade Office in Taipei successfully co-hosted a Global Cooperation and Training Framework (GCTF) workshop on "Setting an Ambitious Path towards a Net-Zero Future" from September 4-6, 2024, in Taipei.
The GCTF, an innovative platform for addressing global and regional challenges, serves as a bridge for sharing Taiwan's expertise and fostering international collaboration. This workshop brought together experts from around the world to share cutting-edge strategies for developing a circular economy, fostering green cooperation between industries and agriculture, and identifying opportunities for cities and states to create a sustainable, low-carbon future.
By convening a diverse group of stakeholders, the workshop underscored the vital importance of global partnerships in tackling climate change and emphasized Taiwan's ongoing commitment to sustainability and green innovation.
